From the very beginnings of the Earley Christian Fellowship there was a desire to pray regularly together. Carved in a stone in the wall just outside the main doors to ECF are the words: “A house of prayer for all nations.” We do pray for the nations, we pray for people, situations and circumstances far and wide, including our own locality. Prayer meetings have been called the “engine of the church” and we encourage all to come along and participate.
We gather each week at 7.30 in the church hall on a Tuesday evening to seek The Lord in prayer. We pray corporately and we continue until around 9.00pm. We see it as a crucial part of church family life.
