A Sunday morning meeting of 150-200 people can be great for worship, teaching and hearing the prophetic word of God. But it can also be daunting for the new Christian wanting to make new meaningful relationships in the church. This is where the home groups come in. There is nothing like the relaxed setting of a home for developing relationships expressed through mutual love, support and encouragement.
So at ECF there are currently five home groups that meet midweek once a fortnight on Wednesday/Thursday evening and Thursday morning. They are located in Woodley, Earley and Whitley. The groups are informal with discussion, bible study, prayer, social activities and plenty of laughter!
